The Monotanium Alloy is a Engineering Console that improves resistance against kinetic and physical damage, which is primarily caused by torpedoes and mines, and exotic damage abilities.
Neutronium Alloy also provides resistance to Kinetic and Physical (and all other damage types), but only half as much as Monotanium Alloy.
