Events are windows of opportunity during which you either gain discounts or bonuses when completing specific tasks or gain access to a mission or mission chain.
This page will introduce you to the event categories and provide you with brief information on each event as well as link you to more detailed information on each event.
[edit] Introduction
Most events are listed in the Mission Journal (opened by pressing J or by clicking on the 'Hail' button, which is located in the bottom left corner of the Mini Map) allowing players to access more detailed information on any event by clicking on the event image.
Certain events are not listed, these are either random events only accessible during random times of the day or are special events announced by Cryptic Studios only accessible during specific times and dates.

| Borg Invasion of Defera | During this event Defera Prime comes under attack by the Borg and player have a chance to participate in easy, medium and hard missions on to earn Energy Credits, special loot unique to this event and more. | 180 |
| Time to Craft! | Enjoy a 20% reduction in the amount of non-replicatable materials needed for Crafting items at Memory Alpha or Qo'noS while this event is active. | 60 |
| Crystalline Catastrophe | While this event is active, Starfleet and KDF Officers may join the fight against the Crystalline Entity and earn Bonus XP or a trophy for their starship interior. | 60[1] |
| FED Mirror Universe Incursion | While this event is active, Starfleet officers level 11-50 may join the fight against the Mirror Universe and earn bonus XP for every starship you defeat as well as 480 Dilithium Ore per round. | 60[1] |
| KDF Mirror Universe Incursion | While this event is active, KDF officers level 11-50 may join the fight against the Mirror Universe and earn bonus XP for every starship you defeat as well as 480 Dilithium Ore per round. | 60[1] |

| The Path to 2409 | Complete your daily Lore missions while this event is active and you'll earn an extra data chip. | 60 |
| Multiphasic Event | Search for Anomalies while this event is active and you will earn bonus Data samples and Particle traces for use at Memory Alpha or Qo'noS. | 60 |
| Tour the Universe | Test your ship and crew with a race across Sector Space for Energy Credits. To pick up the mission; Starfleet officers talk to Jay Yim in Club 47 and KDF officers talk to Targak in the First City bar. | 60 |
| Starfleet Academy Event | Help cadets at the Starfleet Academy while this event is active for a chance to earn Dilithium Ore Containers. | 60 |
| Officer Reports | Play missions that other players have created using the Foundry during this event and earn bonus rewards! | 60 |
| Dilithium Mining | Earn extra dilithium ore while this event is active. Head to the asteroid field near Bajor, in the Beta Ursae Sector Block, and don an EV Suit to engage in dilithium mining | 60 |
| Vault Shuttle Event | Retake The Vault with Obisek and earn Reman Datalogs! You must be in a shuttle or fighter to queue for this event. | 60 |

| “The Odyssey Class” | The engineering team at Utopia Planitia Shipyards need someone to take the U.S.S. Odyssey (NCC-97000) on a shakedown run. Upon completion the player was reward with an Odyssey Star Cruiser. This event ran from February 2 through February 6 of 2012. | |
